• Ahmed Al-Kandari FRCS(C) B.M., B.Ch: Assistant Professor of Urologic Surgery at Kuwait Univeristy, and Consultant in the Urology Unit of Adan Hospital, Kuwait. Inderbir Gill, M.D., M.Ch: Chairman of the Glickman Urological Institute Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. Following residencies in his native India and America, Dr Gill was appointed a fellow at the Cleveland Institute in 1997, specialising in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the adrenal gland, kidney, prostate and bladder. He is already the author and editor of several leading works in this area, including the Textbook of Laparoscopic Urology (Informa Healthcare, 2006) and the DVD-accompanied Atlas of Laparoscopic Urology (Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2006), and has done a number of projects with us here at Springer (i.e. Contemporary Interventional Ultrasonography in Urology, 2008 & Tips and Tricks in Laparoscopi Urology, Kumar & Gill 2007).
• Dr Arvind P. Ganpule is currently, Vice- Chairman, Department of Urology and Chief, Division of laparoscopic and robotic surgery at the Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH), Nadiad, India. Dr Arvind Ganpule is a postgraduate guide for urology trainees at MPUH Nadiad, India. He has 115 pubmed indexed publications to his credit in reputed peer reviewed National and International Journals .In addition, he has authored 23 book chapters and edited one book. He was a lead investigator in the largest epidemiological study in India, investigating the natural history of BPH in western India. He has innovated a novel low cost retrieval bag in laparoscopy.(known as the Nadiad bag) He was involved with the team at MPUH, Nadiad India in developing the microperc system with Polydiagnost GmBH. He has one patent filed with Indian patent office. He is on the Editoral board of Indian journal of urology(IJU) and Journal of minimal access surgery(JMAS).He has been on the editorial board of SpringerPLUS since past three months. He was named the” Best national reviewer” for the IJU and the endourology society(Engineering section) in the year 2012 and 2015. Dr Ganpule is a recipient of the prestigious MIUC scholarship of the of Urological society of India. He has also received the F1000 AFM travel Award and grant (For excellent post publication reviews)consecutively for three years(2012,13,14).He was named the AUA-USI(Chakravarty fellowship) scholar for year 2012. Dr Ganpule is conducting a AUA IC course on laproscopic donor nephrectomy for consecutively three years.
