Author
Dr. Swati Goyal, an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiodiagnosis Government Medical College & Hospital Bhopal, is also an author of an international book on Abdomino-pelvic sonography for practitioners. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Medical Sciences. Her various research papers have been published in both national and international journals. She received her MBBS degree from GMC, Amritsar. After completing residency from Government Medical College (GMC) and Maharaja Yashwant-Rao Hospital (MYH) Indore, she underwent training in Bhopal and was awarded a DNB degree by NBE (National Board of Examinations), in Delhi. She has served as a senior resident in Chirayu Medical College Bhopal and AIIMS Bhopal before joining Government Medical College as an Assistant Professor. She is a Life member of IRIA (Indian Radiological and Imaging Association)
Apart from an academic book, she is also an author of a non- academic book addressing public health issues pertaining to lifestyle ailments "What A Non-medico Must Know- The quintessential guide to family health and wellness."
She has been contributing medical write-ups for an eminent newspaper "Times of India" and regularly writing articles, pertaining to the medical field, on her Facebook page.
