Authors
Jean-Luc Febbraro, MD, is Vice Chief of the Department of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Rothschild Foundation, Paris, France. Dr. Febbraro graduated from the Medical School, University of Turin, Italy in 1987. He subsequently completed Ophthalmology residencies at the University of Milan and the Rothschild Foundation, followed by a Cataract and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the Medical University of Lariboisière Saint Louis, Paris, and a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at Buzard Eye Institute, Las Vegas, USA. He joined the Rothschild Foundation as an Attending Surgeon in 1999 and took up his present position in 2004. Dr. Febbraro is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, from which he received an Achievement Award in 2007. Dr. Febbraro is a reviewer for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Journal of Refractive Surgery. He has given numerous presentations and been a course instructor at national and international meetings and is the author of peer-reviewed publications on a wide range of topics.
